2003: Donation to help restore the Conservatory of Flowers in Golden Gate Park.
Contribution to Strybing Arboretum & Botanical Gardens for restoration of the Garden of Fragrance.
1999-2002: Donations to the Strybing Arboretum & Botanical Gardens and the Strybing Arboretum Society for maintenance and reforestation.
1998: Donation to Strybing Arboretum and Botanical Gardens part of which used for specific projects in the Moon-Viewing Pavilion.
1997: Planting of trees around Elk Glen Lake; commemorative Tree Program in the Moon Viewing Garden in memory of H. Kent Atwater, Yasundo Takahashi and Elizabeth Clark Tippett.
1996: Refurbishing the garden of Strybing Arboretum due to extensive damage from the winter storms of 1995-1996; refurbishing the Moon Viewing Garden in memory of Norman Sparnon; the Storm Relief Fund.
1995: The Kobe, Japan Earthquake Relief; refurbishing the Garden of Fragrance.
1994: The complete renovation of the sound system in the auditorium of the S.F. County Fair Building, and donation of the Tokugawa Stone Lantern to Strybing Arboretum.
1993: Upkeep of I.I. gardens donated to Strybing Arboretum.
1992: Reforestation program in Golden Gate Park; upkeep of I.I. gardens donated to Strybing Arboretum Botanical Gardens.
1991: Complete refurbishing of the Moon-Viewing Pavilion Garden including the Janet Chapman Memorial Stone Lantern.
1990: New pavilion in Moon-Viewing Garden.
1989: Reforestation program in Golden Gate Park.
1988: Refurbishing Garden of Fragrance (new signs, shrubs) in Strybing Arboretum; Japanese Maple plantings around Emperor's Commemorative Stone in Strybing Arboretum; new path, fencing in Moon-Viewing Garden.
1987: The Takamine Garden in Strybing Arboretum; renovation of the East-West Home Garden in Strybing Arboretum; reforestation program in Golden Gate Park.
1986: Upkeep of Ikebana International gardens donated to Strybing Arboretum; reforestation program in Golden Gate Park.
1985: Kiyoko Dauria stone lantern memorial in Moon-View Pavilion Garden; Mary Ruth May Garden in Strybing Arboretum Botanical Gardens.
1984: Reforestation (west end) of Golden Gate Park; donations to Asian Art Museum and the Japanese Cultural and Community Center of Northern California.
1983: Reforestation (west end) of Golden Gate Park; printing of Garden of Fragrance brochures.
1982: Refurbishing of bamboo gardens in Strybing Arboretum. Dr. S. J. Kimura Memorial Bench in the Garden of Fragrance in Strybing Arboretum.
1981: Reforestation of west end of Golden Gate Park.
1980: Twenty-five Japanese Maples and twenty-five Japanese flowering apricot (Ume) donated to Golden Gate Park: Renovation of Garden of Fragrance in Strybing Arboretum Botanical Gardens as memorial to Dr. Samuel J. Kimura.
1979: Completion of Ikebana Memorial Garden; completion of Cherry Tree Project, 1000th tree planted at dedication ceremony.
1978: Flowering cherry tree plantings.
1977: Ikebana Memorial Garden (formerly parking for Kezar Stadium) in Golden Gate Park; flowering cherry tree plantings.
1976: The Takamine Garden in Strybing Arboretum; flowering cherry tree plantings.
1975: Flowering cherry tree plantings in Golden Gate Park.
1974: Flowering cherry tree plantings in Golden Gate Park.
1973: Completion of Moon-Viewing Pavilion Garden; flowering cherry tree plantings in Golden Gate Park.
1972: Flowering Japanese cherry tree plantings in Golden Gate Park.
1971: Completion of the Moon-Viewing Pavilion Garden.
1970: Flowering Japanese Cherry Tree Project started at SF's JAPAN WEEK in 1969 and launched with presentation of 170 "akebono" cherry trees to Golden Gate Park during its centennial celebration, subsequently planted annually until its completion.
1969: Construction of a Japanese Moon-Viewing Pavilion Garden in the Strybing Arboretum Botanical Gardens.
1968: The building of oriental horticulture stacks for the Helen Crocker Russell Memorial Library of the Strybing Arboretum (to begin in 1971); the Hakone Gardens in Saratoga.
1967: The Strybing Arboretum Botanical Gardens' outdoor educational program associated with their Redwood Nature Trail; the Japanese Garden in San Mateo Garden Center.
1966: A demonstration home Japanese garden in the Demonstration Gardens of the Strybing Arboretum.
1965: Development of the John Muir Nature Trail, a 10-acre tract within the Arboretum dedicated to native California plants.
1964: A rock garden with Hinoki Cypress in the patio of the San Francisco Garden Center; expansion facilities of the SF County Fair Building.
1963: "Demonstration Gardens" and completion of Garden of Fragrance for the Blind in Strybing Arboretum Botanical Gardens of Golden Gate Park.
1962: Maintenance of the SF County Fair Building.
1961: Maintenance of the SF County Fair Building (a.k.a. Hall of Flowers).
